Editing

Editing of Sebastian & Me is coming along slowly.  We're just over half way through the scenes of the first rough cut.  The rough cut is always the worst stage, as it is the first time you get to see the film come together and is often the time you spot mistakes, or wonder if you could have done something different.  There is now enough of the film roughly edited to make you start getting involved with the characters, but with the sound all over the place, no sound FX, no music etc it is always harder to watch.  I hope to have the first cut done by the end of October.

Filming Complete

The last filming session went well last week and finished ahead of schedule.  It was sad to say good bye to an excellent cast.  Now the fun begins with the Editing.   We've still got some bits and pieces to sort out, music, voice overs, etc but hopefully we'll have it all wrapped up for Christmas and a premiere in the new year.

Day 7 Complete

Day 7 of filming complete. A lovely 9 hours to finish the majority of the filming. Some great performances by the cast. A huge thank you to all cast and crew for helping us stick to our shooting schedule and also to all the mums for getting their children where they should be. Just one more evening to complete the shoot and then the editing begins.

Day 6 Complete

Day 6 of filming completed.  A small cast and crew today due to 90% of it being either voice over or Music video so no sound recording required.  Great work by Samuel Broadway and Jacob von Heimendahl.  It's not easy getting kids to concentrate for 6 hours a day, especially having a producer and director shouting instructions at you all day long.  Well done boys!  Just one more day of intense filming to go and that will be all but one scene finished!

What a difference a day makes

What a difference a day makes...  Lovely sunshine for a mornings filming.  Some excellent scenes filmed at Cineworld (thanks to them) this morning and then Hail Weston Park.  Both Leah and Isabel have now finished their filming with us so we're sad to them go.  Just two more full days of filming and then and evening, except the producers has messed up and needs to re-arrange that one!
