Over the last year we have been busily applying for Grants to aid us in our activities. We have recently been successful in obtaining a grant for £500 from the St Neots Town Council to put towards a new Editing PC for the Club. The grant will mean we will now be able to edit in HD a must for broadcasters these days.

On Sunday May 11th, Darren, Lindsay and Dave filmed what is hoped to be the last of the filming for Water's Edge.
Darren has now got the task of editing approximately 5 hours of tape into 7 minutes. So far around 2 minutes have been cut together, but they are constantly chaging as the peice comes together. The first cut is hoped to be finished by the end of may.
On Saturday 26th April the Channel 7 team traveled to Dunwich, Suffolk to film one of the majority of the music videos scenes. On arriving at 8am to glorious sunshine filming began. By 10am the weather had changed and it was then cold, wet and windy! Not great for the cast, crew and equipment but fitted the mood of the piece we were filming. Erin joined us briefly as she thoroughly enjoyed going in the sea in April! A very brave little girl! The cold drove us on and were finished by 2pm instead of the 4pm we had planned to finished. Great fun but very cold. Thank goodness for the fish & chip shop for lunch!
Channel 7 joined 31 other amateur clubs around the country in competiing for the The 2014 Best Website Compeition and are extremely pleased to announce that our Club has won this year.
