Post Production

Post Production

When the actual filming is over you may well be asked to do sound recordings, such as telephone calls or narration. This could take place in a sound recording studio, on location, or even at the editing suite.

It is rare, but you could also be asked back to re-shoot a scene if something disastrous is found in the editing

You may also be interviewed about your experiences for a documentary that shows some of the experiences you have had making the film. It is usually released with the finished film.

Editing

After the filming is finished a huge amount of work then goes into editing the sound and picture together along with any music and sound effects that go to make the finished production. This can take up to 6 months, much more than the actual filming but it is always worth the wait.
